This first disc of this wonderful 17 CD set has many great things going for it. First there is the first know take of "Let It Be". This disc has a great version of Paul singing John's song "I'm so Tired". An interesting version "ob-la-di,ob-la-da". After that more great '50's cover versions. A great version of "All things must pass" as well as a never released version of "maxwell silver hammer". Track 28 gives us a nice little instrumental jam and the disc finishes up with a song which is probalby another little know 's cover called "You wear your women out" which is sung by Paul and it really rocks out.
Overall this is a very enjoyable CD and is only the beginning of more great stuff to come in the rest of this fantastic set. Get it now, don't delay because it will become core material in you bootleg collection! Review by: Alessandro Marinho, taj. It can't be more pure than that man It even has those tiny little tracks found only in original CDs the bottom of It is pure silver as well, no trace of yellow or MITSUI stuff like the previous ones Review by: Edsel.
On 01 Mar at CET. An asolute top-notch set, no doubt. Sound quality is about as perfect as it could get. It's all been said before how marvelous the "Thirty Days" set is, but what I find to be the most amazing thing about it is to actually hear the greatest band that ever was sitting around and sounding so No, really.
When you listen in to these tapes, you hear 4 guys who most definitely did not want to be in the same room having every single note they played recorded for posterity. Quite amazing that when you think that "Please Please Me" was recorded in just a few days, and the "Get Back" album technically never even got finished, and that was only about 6 years later.

Alessandro, what in the hell is a CD-R Box? Pure silver, and no trace of yellow? Is this code language, or what. If you saw the film, "Let It Be", the opening scene features Paul sitting at the grande piano, a half eaten green apple atop. A wonderful, yet Bring It On Home - The Beatles - Thirty Days scene, and an omen of things to come: the disintegration of Apple, and solo careers for each member of the group.
Beautiful sound, and then the transition into an early take of "Let It Be" is breathtaking. Everything else has been covered above, a great disc to own I only have the first six. The Twickingham Studios, remember the film were cold, dark, and quite moody. The Beatles were for the most part, uncomfortable recording there, and eventually moved operations over to Apple. Whatever the case, history will have it that the Beatles were miserable in the midst of each others company at both Twickingham and Apple, but you would never know it after listening to this disc; they seem to be having a blast.
Review by: lobo. On 07 Dec at CET. This Bring It On Home - The Beatles - Thirty Days convert the most persuaded Beatles fan into a Stones dependant. Simply horrible! If your social life suffers from your beatleg addiction this is the medicine! Why 10 stars? It's the Beatles, isn't it?

This is indeed a nice compilation, but for the ultimate Get Back Sessiones one must go for the Purple Chick mega set. The nice extra on this box is that it includes the rooftop concert and one of Glyn John's mixes. Review by: drrobert On 25 Oct at CET. The book in this box is so good everytime I put on one of these discs I have to read the book plus great pictures ,also comes with the 1st mix of the get back album which made me buy the 2nd mix from vigatone which is done in the same way, another great book included, then apple put out Let it be.
